Your method could cause problems. How did you know the time wasn't 10:13PM when you set the date? If it was you could have damaged the movement. I prefer to rotate the hands until the date clicks over, then continue past 4AM and then change the date.

I set it up yesterday @ 12am, and i set it up now @ 8am so i think it is going to be alright now

I have jovial watch so the first click is to change the hour arm and second the minutes arm. So how to change the date then?!
