Name Meaning:
The name "Dushanbe" translates to "Monday" in Tajik, and it is believed to be named after the popular market that once took place on Mondays. The city's growth and development have transformed it from a small market town into the capital and largest city of Tajikistan.

Teahouse Rogun:
Dushanbe is home to the world's largest teahouse, the Teahouse Rogun. This cultural landmark can accommodate over 1,000 visitors at a time and features traditional Tajik architecture.
