US rock band formedin 1979 in San Diego, USA, by: Bruce Joyner (vocals, keyboards) // Mark Neill (guitars & vocals) // David Doyle (bass) // Steve Bidrowski (Drums)
Bruce Joyner left the band in 1982. They continued with Craig Packham (drums) and in 1990 reunited with Joyner for an album and a French tour 91' (announced previously as Bruce Joyner And The Tinglers, due to "Beyond The Dark" issued previously as 3rd Unknowns album, both by New Rose). B. Joyner left again soon after reunion to concentrate on other projects.

New Wave Theatre was a television program broadcast locally in the Los Angeles area on UHF channel 18 and eventually on the USA Network as part of the late night variety show Night Flight during the early 1980s.[1][2] The show was created and produced by David Jove, who also wrote the program with Billboard magazine editor Ed Ochs. It was noted for showcasing rising punk and new wave acts.
