I have played a lot of creepy Minecraft versions, and 0.0.0 is my personal favourite. It manages to make it look like a regular Minecraft version, but also makes you feel uneasy enough. This is perfection.

Just an idea, if you re-visit this game, try playing it with no internet connection at all. Disconnect wifi and ethernet. This might shed some light on the mysterious player you encountered at the end of the video. If the game is indeed a multi-player server labeled as "Single player, " having no internet connection will tell if the player is a real player on a server or just an entity coded into the game.
