I listen to this song every day before I have my private time my intimate time my most precious time with the Lord I sometimes play it over and over maybe once maybe twice it is one of the most beautiful hymns I've ever heard and it's a wonderful beginning with my time with the Lord I've been saved about 20 years now but last August I made up my mind that no matter what I'm going to spend time with the Lord every day as my pastor told me I would do it off and on and my flesh like to killed me! but with God's help I purpose in my heart to have that sweet time of prayer but not just prayer but
spending time with him in word or worshiping I don't have a set schedule it's just being with him. and my life has truly not been the same I'm growing up in the Lord so I thank you for this song Sweet Sweet Sweet Hour of Prayer Believers please join me spend time with God everyday you won't regret it God bless

Beautiful song! I listen to this song every day as I commute to work. Prayer for the Christian should come naturally as breathing.

"Tawngtai hun hlu" this song is in my native language hymn book which is Mizo... Saturday Night is used for Prayer Service where everyone are praying in the church guided by the Elders from the Chair, no sermons, and we pray for many contents collected from the church members. And we also used to sing a song related to prayer and this is one of our favourite and mine. If you wanted any prayer you can always give a point. We would gladly pray for you. And also every morning there is a personal prayer service in our church.

The child of God must take this invitation to partake of the power of God's righteousness daily. Not just once or twice a day, but many times during each day. Don't wait until some stress or trial assails you. Talk with the Lord all thru each day. Let his Spirit bring fresh insights and encouragement to you. Let Him teach you wonderful lessons from the lips of Christ and his disciples.
Drink of the Water of Life which Christ alone can impart. This is true prayer and the way your character is tested and burnished to shine like gold. It is by tests that we grow strong and learn how to put on the whole armor of God. Prayer is having a living conversation with Christ all the time. He wants to teach us many things. He will test us and strengthen us. Our faith is the means by which heaven comes near to us and lifts us up to Christ to live a life of trust and obedience in Him.
