We love the Black Girl sunscreen but it is more expensive so I only use it on our faces, the rest of the body can get ghostly lol

Black Girl SPF kids version spf has 50 and works just as well without having Octocrylene which is a common irritant to sensitive skin. I highly suggest people check out the kids’ or baby version of any line of products because they usually are the most safe formulas for sensitive skin and often times they cost less (just as mens beauty, hair and skincare products are less expensive than those marketed towards women.)

My staple sunscreen is definitely Black Girl Sunscreen, I buy the KIDS product for my 8 y/o daughter. We have no issues or white cast.

CETAPHIL SHEER MINAL SUNSCREEN SPF 50! Only the sunscreen I have ever used it doesn't cause any white cast, at all! (I'm a black girl) it's also pretty glowy and lightweight! Also super cheap and affordable!

I use equate sunscreen lotion all the time as a dark skin woman and I can vouch that it will melt like butter on your skin. It makes my skin glow. My friends would always compliment my skin when I use it. It’s really, really, really, really, good.🎉

Black Girl Sunscreen is EXCELLENT, and it smells AMAZING. I just purchased the 50 Make It Hybrid Mineral Combo from CVS $16 and some change. 👍🏿

La neige is a great one that also works beautifully on my black skin. Used it in Jamaica and never once purpled or peeled! La Neige has hyaluronic acid so its super moisturizing with ZERO WHITE CAST

As a brown girl I agree it’s hard to find a great sunscreen that doesn’t pill with moisturizer, isn’t greasy, and feels hydrating and doesn’t leave a white cast. I found out about the beauty of Joseon relief sun sunscreen and it’s amazing! It’s 50+ sun protection, it’s a rice probiotics organic sunscreen and leaves no white cast at all! You do have to rub it in for about 10-20 secs but it’s super hydrating. In the morning I use cerave moisturizer, vitamin c serum and the sunscreen on top and it never pills also it leaves a great glow on my skin. I recommend it because it’s a great product for a great price of about $32 for a twin pack. No white cast, not greasy, and not sticky.I have eczema and acne and I’ve noticed it does wonders for my sensitive skin and has actually reduced my acne quite a bit. Please review it if you get a chance! ❤❤

You should also try the Naturium sunscreen +++ moisturizer as well. I get compliments on my skin everyday. And yes, the Black Girl Sunscreen is my go to as well.

Also another honorable mention is Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen, it’s clear so no white cast and it also acts as a blurring primer, also Glow Screen is really good

The EltaMD tinted mineral is my favorite even though I’m literal dark chocolate 😂 there’s a cast when you first apply it, but after like… half an hour maybe, you don’t even see it anymore. So as long as you’re not applying sunscreen minutes before you leave the house, you’ll be fine. It’s a shame my favorite sunscreens are also so expensive though 😂 means I’m much much much less likely to reapply throughout the day.

I was searching all over for the perfect color match for me and this is the best I’ve found so far! I haven’t road tested it yet, but I hope it can stand up to my oily skin🤞🏽

The ones from supergoop are clear and really great, I've tried 2 from them and neither have a cast to them and one had the feel of a silicone primer I really like it.

I absolutely love my Black Girl Sunscreen! My entire household uses it me, my husband, and our kids

Try the Bioré Aqua Rich Watery Essence Spf50+ Pa+++, it's a super affordable Japanese sunscreen that goes on like a gel moisturizer. It is my absolutely favorite non-tinted SPF, and I tried a ton of different ones before I found it. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't cause breakouts or weird irritation like some can, and it doesn’t make my eyes water or itch either.

My biggest piece of advice as a see through pale, white girl is DO NOT USE CETAPHIL SUNSCREEN. It was so white and settled into my neck wrinkles. Lol

Black Girl Sunscreen is so tea, love it

Applying small amounts and rubbing it in helps get rid of white cast on Black skin for me. My current favorite is the Black Girl Sunscreen Kids version because it comes without the odor like the black tube one. I’ve also tried the La Roche Posay UV Moisturizer and it works well too (a bit pricey) but it irritated my eyes with each use no matter what I did. So, I won’t be repurchasing it.

Literally every chemical sunscreen won’t leave you a white cast. You don’t need sunscreens marketed towards dark skin (unless it’s mineral-based)

Nuturium glow spf 50 is excellent also, and they came out with another version for those who prefer less glowy products. Not a fan of Susan since she misled everyone, promoting her brand without disclosing it was her brand, but the products are actually incredibly good and reasonably priced. Target carries the brand so it is now accessible too. The kid with the big dip is for measuring the amount of SPF you use, so you don’t have to guess how much you need all the time (which is pretty handy to have!)
