If you have a massive scene with many complex materials, that means you're screwed. Good job blender. They could have add a flag on these nodes to avoid compatibility issues. Can someone please make an addon or script for this?

But I got the same issue on my newest 4.2 version

Manually Replacing all node is not a better option for a goodworkflow. Blender Always 7step backward compared to other softwares. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Hey Ryan!! Here's a tutorial request... Procedural paint peel from a wood texture.. your tutorials have for a generic Material, but for wood the way that paint peels is different... Can u give some tips on how to make it? Or a tutorial if possible? Thanks !

For me the mix node becomes undefined when I exit the project and come back to it. This is on the same version of blender.

Hi Ryan. I recently met some problem on texture painting. The color went out of brush range while painting, which means, the texture appeared in some areas where I didn't draw. What could go wrong? I used STL file as input, the mesh is very dense and I mannually cleaned up all the overlaps in UV map. Many thanks if you can help!

There has got to be a better way to fix old shaders. I have one material with 75 mix nodes that is only a few weeks old and Im not willing to plug it together again.
