Be Anxious For Nothing (Philippians 4:6-9)

Philippians 4:6-9.

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you."

Such a better response than the tired old "just be positive, whatever that means. Life is tough. We are to speak Truth, which sometimes isn't so Positive, like PreBorn child murder and sodomite marriage. We are to carry each others' burdens which can't be carried if not shared Bec we have to b "positive" all the time.
Being anxious for nothing is impossible without Christ. This analogous to the mindfulness approach of Religions without Christ.
This verse shows you how to be anxious for nothing, through prayer which will lead to right choice in trials, supplication and Thanksgiving, even for the trials which stregthen our Faith. Meditating on just this one verse is worth 10 years of therapy and psych meds combined. God Bless!
