I learnt more from this series about wood carving than from most wood working channels because he puts it simply and actually shows what he does.

YouTube: No gun building videos… unless they’re super well edited, historically accurate, and generally super great

Wow that quality! It's like I'm watching townsends but with flintlocks.

Beautiful video

At the expense of sounding cynical, this is a 22 minute commercial to get me to want to spend all my money at his business.

AND IT'S WORKING!

Well done! I consider you the "Bob Ross" of gun building. And as a video professional, I'm impressed with your production quality!

Glad to see that I'm not the only enthusiast with an interest in early flintlock rifle construction. A vital link to the frontiersman, hunter's, trapper's, and trail guides that made a place for themselves and a great many other's that may follow. A item of both utility and beauty, the American Flintlocks were made by many European Settler's that learned their indispensable trades in the old world, and brought the final form into being. This young man has brought to the world a long forgotten legacy of hard wearing, and delicacy in design that many have replaced with arms of less function and far little grace. My thanks.

This was probably one of the coolest videos about building a flint lock. Keep them coming

I literally watched an old fitter I knew, build a flintlock pistol in front of me over several days. He handed me 2 and said "which one is the real one?" THey were identical in every way!

Dear sir .I have learned over the years, 64 of them that there are two kinds of builders there's me who builds guns for hunting, not copy's of anything in particular but southern style for sure and I make most of my parts, I buy my barrels and locks and there's very artistic builders who do lots of fancy carving and inlays and some can even make these parts. I love looking at these guns .my point is there is plenty of room for us all, fancy and average Joe and all points in between .keep on keeping on

Good work, what was once a tree and a cnc machined barrel is now a thing of beauty.
