I have two hidea 9.9 and I wished I never bought them. I had them for 7mo and having all kinds of problems. The paint job has bubbling on metal surface. Motor won’t stay idle, dies off or revs up and down in idle. Saltwater some how gets in motor. Open the cover and you see salt dried up on parts like it’s spraying in from somewhere. Now the damn thing won’t hardly move in full throttle. Doesn’t even have a 100hrs on it yet. Can’t even get a contact number to see where I can bring it under warranty! I did everything that was instructed when unboxing and in the water. Now my motors are just sitting. Oh, did I mention..unscrewing motor to take it off, the damn little handles broke off on each motor! I will never give Hidea a good rating! I think it was after the 3rd or 4th month the problems all started!

i bought 15hp long shaft it did barely 70 hours and the head split in half it also had i ding in the block witch was filled gunk and it has damaged on the shaft under the bubbling paint job this hidea cost me 2400 nz dollars and crushed my dream . thank you hidea for a shit engine .
