I had my first experience shopping for a bra in North America 53 years ago. What I asked the saleswoman for was a 34A unpadded bra. Her answer was, "with a figure like yours, I would have thought you could use bit of help." That was the beginning of a half-century battle against the padded bra, which I won to the extent that by hook or by crook I have never worn one.

What a great post! I well remember Glamour magazine in the late 60's, early 70's, my youth. The layouts of the girls wearing t-shirts, looking totally natural. This was well before there was surgery to change the girls. Thanks for such a perfect summary of what we can aspire to - our true selves.

Hi, I‘m from Slovenia, cup size AA and for almost 10 years I wear wireless bras, lightly padded, and I will never go back. I always felt like cheating wearing heavy padded bras with wire, because I represented something that I‘m not and don‘t „have“ 😅 thank you for the video!

You have no idea how much $$$ I have wasted in American brasseries for terrible quality overpriced limited for my blessed treasure chests that hurt, clothes don't fit, shoulders being sore, basically a total nightmare. My first unpacked bra was Auden. I found they didn’t hold up over time. They might be better now. I’ve never gone back to padded bras. Parade has bralettes By bra sizes which is amazing! And wacoal unlined bras and bralettes are amazing too! Size 36DD here. Love this video!

If you find your headlights shine too bright, you can also put thin silicone inserts in your bra. You forget they're on! A lil' peek. Un petit aperçu! I looked that up. My French isn't that good anymore! Thank you!

Well as a gal with, ahem, ample assests I admit its a struggle to find a bra that is supportive, comfy, AND pretty. While I love the idea of a cute little lacy bralette they seldom do the job and, frankly, look ridiculous and can end up being almost obscene. I found only a few wireless, non padded bras that hit all 3 criteria but the fact that more major retailers are starting to carry them for the smaller busted ladies gives me hope that the tides are turning and soon the perfect bras will be in my future!!! 🤞

This has been interesting. Until I was about 28 or so, I had worn between a AA to B cup. I am now 67, and while I wear between a C to D cup, my breasts are not heavy and decidedly NOT pendulous.

I think I'm going to have to plan a trip to Target (said with my best French pronunciation) and try on a few interesting, more delicate bras.

I have found at age 60 with larger breasts that a well-made bra with wires that is designed to give a substantial amount of lift, but without padding, is by far the most comfortable thing that I can wear, actually.
