This simply has to be the most beautiful and realistic forest that I have ever seen. The attention to detail is unbelievable. Your patience is incredible Nigel. A fantastic video, thanks for sharing.

I could quite literally just sit and look at this composition all day. I just love every detail, it has been amazing watching this be developed by a master. Thanks Nigel!

I like the different kinds of moss. Some look very smooth, some look like they could be little ferns. Great forest!

My all time favorite of yours. I have 2 larch forest, American and Japanese. Down here in the southern mountains my American larch only manage 2 flushes of growth a year but they keep growing. The Japanese larch seem to do much better in this area although we haven’t seen any temps above 90 F yet this year and today we won’t get out of the 70s. My Japanese larches constantly put out new growth and I have to pinch them every couple of weeks just to keep them from turning into bushes. Thanks for the inspiration!

Fantastic but my birds would never allow the moss to stay like that! Great video again :)

I just love this forest! You hit every nail on the head with this one. Made me want one for myself! Once I learn more of course... My collected trees have not bud out except one. You say ready for 3rd flush!! We are just on the first! White pines are just flushing and I can still pick spring Spruce buds in places! I should move down there. Freezing up here. Finally getting double digit nights. Few 7 and 8C coming up. 11-12C nights last few days and will be most of this week. Seems to be getting colder and colder every year. 9 years ago, it was staying above 20C at night and we could leave the house windows open at night. We haven't been able to leave the house windows open at night in a couple years now. I guess that carbon tax and pollution tax must be

Am amazed how much time you can put into each bonsai consider you have rather a big collection and the forests are perhaps even more time consuming (but gives great result too).
I can only give my meager collection a pretty insignificant time due to health and work lol. You are so inspiring as a bonsai enthusiast and expert as well as giving us so many perspectives around it.😊
