St Erth to St Ives Train Ride | ONE OF BRITAIN'S MOST SCENIC RAILWAYS

Join me on the very short train journey from St Erth to St Ives (both in Cornwall). It is recommended that you park in St Erth and get the train to St Ives as parking in St Ives is very limited.

St Erth is on the mainline from London Paddington and is the Penultimate stop on the journey to Penzance.

There are 2 trains an hour, seven days a week except for Christmas day and Boxing day.

Crumbs, I hope they bring back the 6 carriage trains for the season peak. What a lovely video Louise! You mentioned that St Erth is the penultimate station on the line from London Paddington, but it's the penultimate station on the line from anywhere in the UK (apart from Penzance!). There's even a train from Aberdeen to Penzance each day! The lighthouse you can see is Godrevy, and if you go for a walk along the clifftop there, you can see lots of seals on the beach. The beach between the train and the lighthouse is good for surfing and bodyboarding. Keep up the good work Louise!
