Simple like this:
1. PC Client: need Screen Capture (NDI Tool)
2. PC Master: need NDI Plugin
3. Same Local Network (wire, wi-fi). No need static IP!

Great videos. Thanks for sharing the basic overview of what NDI is. What i would like to see is a bit deeper into the install on PC's and Mac's and how to make all the sources available for selection. There is alot of generic descriptions of NDI in your videos but you are missing the config details. For example, show what needs to be loaded on the PC and Mac to bring have either act as the broadcast platform. Whether you use OBS on the mac and selecting another pc as a source or vise versa....what needs to be setup on the PC and mac to be made NDI discoverable sources? I have an iMac in the other room, how do i make it discoverable on my pc which is running obs? we just need more technical detail....

Any idea why my NDI Skype is real time on Skype but in OBS it's delayed and that carries over up to Restream. Any idea how to get the NDI Skype into OBS Studio without the lag?

Great course. Is that an OBS overlay that you're using around the 5 minute mark where video of you speaking is in the left frame and the right frame is used to display graphics? It's very effective and gives your presentation a polished professional look. I'm a volunteer for a charity and would like a simiar look to the videos/streams I produce for it. Can you advise, please, where I can get an overlay like this and/or is there a tutorial on how to create/modify such an overlay? Thanks.

Question - zoom rooms - I pin the remote guest as an NDI output. Problem is that my own mic audio also gets sent out this NDI output. It should only be the guest's audio. Anyone have a solution?

Great Video thank you. My question is about the new NDI 5.0 - is there any benefit, like better quality or lower delay compared to the NDI Plugin for OBS which still only uses NDI 4.5.1 ? And well, if there is a benefit, how can you update the OBS NDI Plugin to Version 5 so OBS actually uses the latest NDI Protocol ? The last update from the OBS Plugin Maker is from Early 2020.

I was able to add the NDI plugin to OBS and I downloaded the OBS Camera on my iPhone but my phone is not appearing under Source name when I click on the drop menu. It’s not pulling any sources and it is not reading my phone. Did I miss a step. The settings on my OBS Camera app on my phone is set to NewTek NDI in the output settings area. Why do you think my phone is not appearing under the source name?

I'm trying to use NDI Screen Capture into OBS with audio to play karaoke songs while on Zoom (I have a scene set up where the karaoke video is playing with my webcam shot in the upper left corner.). I (supposedly) have the sound filtered into OBS Audio Monitor with the mic and karaoke track being mixed and sent to Zoom via a virtual audio cable (the familiar Cable A). However, when I test it with a real song, my audience says they can't hear the music, only what's coming from my mic. What could I be doing wrong?

can you layer different touchdesigner projects in obs into the same scene? i get NDI errors when i try and have more then 1 proj trying to run/ cook w ndi out nodes.... ty for ur help im really new

I'm having an issue where the streaming PC is getting crushed or crackling audio during the stream. Audio and video are synced just fine, but something is happening over the NDI bridge which is causing the audio to be low quality.

OBS settings are all aligned between the two machines. The only thing I can think of is that the gaming PC is a windows machine and the streaming PC is a MAC laptop. But the specs are all fine. Not sure if you have any ideas. Help!

I used to use the NDI output from OBS along with the NDI output from EasyWorship and switched between them using the Studio Monitor web interface. However, that has recently stopped working. I can see both sources on the Studio Monitor but can't switch between them - it gets stuck on EasyWorship. Have you seen this problem?
