Ive been practicing for 7 years now and when i first started the online space with other witches was safe, fun, and educational! I dont know what has happened since but its very concerning. Id also like to say, years ago i had seen a creator post about witchcraft being a dangerous and scary thing that people still have to worry about and look out for, it made me feel dejected and looked down upon for a craft that has brought me joy. Seeing you post without negative judgement for the craft itself but for the people abusing it online, was really wonderful and a nice change of pace for me to see! You're awesome, as always

When you started talking about “pop culture deities” all I could think about was the SCP Foundation (scifi-fantasy creative writing website) and the idea that gods are formed by a quantifiable sort of belief energy and if enough people truly believe in something, it manifests a deity
