Samsung Galaxy Android Camera - Linus Tech Tips CES 2013

The Galaxy Camera from Samsung comes pre-loaded with Android Jellybean and due to its custom software is capable of a lot of sweet functionality that you just wouldn't see with a normal camera including sophisticated "helpers" for non-camera people, and manual settings for shutterbugs.

Firmware updates happen. Pentax released an update for my K-30, I just had to put a .bin file on an SD card, put it in the camera and select Update Firmware in the respective Settings menu.

Well, first things first. You have to wait for the phone to boot up before using the camera.

I can update the firmware on my Olympus E-520...i can even update it on the lense itself...

Nokia did this years ago with the N8. I compared it wit my E-520 and in good conditions, there is not much difference. Sure, with backlighting and really dark conditions it can't hold it's ground...but the Nokia 808 is for something like this just the best.
