Y'all can sleep on HF if ya want to! I've got about 10 Hercules tools from drill to battery ratchets and haven't had a single issue with ANY of them. I even replaced a broken 1/2" Milwaukee impact with the Hercules, I swear it's stronger than the Milwaukee was.

I have the Bauer brushless version with the 2 year HF warranty. They both boast 2200 inch pounds, have 3 speeds, and have the 3 led lights in the front with basically identical ergonomics. Do you think there is a big enough difference between the Hercules and Bauer to warrant purchasing the Hercules?

I went Yellow with my first impact/drill, then Red for a bunch of tools. My 1 yr old 6.5” circ fuel saw electronics broke from cutting 1 DFir 2x10 crosscut with 6HO batt, I then lost faith 😂. Yes, we have 7 1/4” circ but at that time we didn’t….After two different issue repairs from Milkwaukee factory, although it works now…it seems like it’s never the same anymore.

I realized after testing different saws, I prefer the DeWalt saws. I tried the Flexvolt and I don’t regret it. It makes the M18 Fuel 7 1/2” weak. Even Flex Advantage is better than M18. No big branded names are good all around - get the right tool for the job that works for you.

As for the hard shell DeWalt batteries (except PS) not sure why they don’t use rubber overmold on all of them like the oil resistant ones. Premium price???? Im actually shocked that in one YT video of torture testing, the DeWalt 850 + FV battery didn’t break as much as the Milwaukee.

Did think dewalt was gonna win but theres the results. Now i wonder if the 5ah powerstack would give it the boost to beat it. Also wonder if results would be same if both had 8ah batteries. Which one feels nicer in the hand tho too? Dewalt looks slimmer and hercules a little shorter but idk

I feel like he should do individual runs to get more accurate results but either way I'd still take the DeWalt cause of reliability I feel like the Hercules relies on the instant torque and we'll over time it will decay/burn out the motor.
