My quartzite countertop is perfect - it’s beautiful like marble but really carefree. Been using it for 4 years with no treatment or special care and it looks the same. It was a splurge but worth it. I love the look of marble but didn’t want to be worried about staining etc.

There are so many color palettes in this clip that I love! You are the best, Nick!! I have learned so much from you. My decor is embarrassing currently but I am ready to start shopping with intention, focus on quality items and flow versus my current mish mash of…whatever. I had no idea where to shop for quality things in a style that I am drawn to so I appreciate your favorite stores and honest review of different things. Also your videos about paint colors and the color wheel have helped me sooo much. I’m a recovering diy-er and I once painted my dining room chairs red and yellow, literally ketchup and mustard. It was awful.

We’re installing leathered Perla Venata and polished Cristallo quartzite in our home in a few weeks. Quite a step up from the laminate we’ve been using for 28yrs. I can’t wait!

I really like your content and have learned a lot since I started watching your channel! I disliked the 'short' format for this video though- Too disjointed on the transitions, and feels like it should have been a regular (full sized) video since there is a lot of information that can be shared with viewers about each of these options.

Important to note: while travertine has a consistent definition between geology, design, and architecture, many materials sold as “marble” for design and architectural purposes are other metamorphic rocks. “Granite” has even more variety: I almost never see a granite countertop that’s actually made of granite. These are usually other igneous or even metamorphic rocks.

Just say no to quartz! Nothing can compete with real stone.
