I couldn't agree more! I think he needs a sports psychologist to help him develop a better mental attitude and, most importantly, improve his starts!! How many times can you give away a podium on lap 1?

Sadly, recent events have shown that the Mclaren team/stratagies are not yet ready for the front of the filled and this has started to reflect on Lando's preformace even though the car is mighty - so fustrating as he's waited patiently all this time for a winning car, now he needs a winning team!

Lando has been one of my favorite drivers, but I see way more potential and emotional maturity in Oscar, maybe I’m biased because Piastri is my favorite driver but some of Lando’s moments recently shows me he is not emotionally ready enough to be a champion and deal with the pressures of difficult situations. I see more maturity from Oscar than Lando.

this season really shows that McLaren can and will win championships. Lando will definitely close the gap by the end of '24 and will not be surprised if they end up very very close to 1st. Next season will be a battle from the start and I cant wait, but yes Lando needs some external help to get him to that place mentally, get that strength that he needs. Its hard to watch him be so harsh on himself after every race that is a "could've would've should've" but at the same time he is open and vulnerable, thats just the kind of person he is, and it's not forced. In the long run he will get there and im here for the journey !!

I hate to say it but whilst Lando is amazing, I became a Lando fan when he was in F2, I fear his mental attitude may get the better of him. Oscar has outscored Lando in the last 8 races (by more than the gap between first and second in Hungary) and I suspect that's going to continue. In fact I think Oscar has a much greater chance of overtaking Lando, than Lando has of overtaking Max.

i have always hoped that lando would get wins and become a WCW . but at the moment, oscar is showing a lot more mental control then lando . don’t blame lando . im sure that once you get a win you can only see yourself fighting for wins . but you gotta keep the right attitude . shout out to nico rosberg

Has anyone else noticed how Lando is becoming a diva. He now expects to podium every race and still complains about something and doesn’t even act excited, humble or grateful on the radio at the end of the race and the whole vibe changed when he was “forced” to give up the win to Oscar. I miss the funny, laughing, goofy, happy go lucky Lando. I think he’s been abducted by aliens and replaced with a bot. Will the real Lando, please come back. I don’t like this version, he’s losing his appeal and huge personality which won him so many fans. I’m finding it harder to root for him now.

He is the jorge martin of motogp....he is fast...but he doesnt have the instinct of a true champion...hope it is a mistake for me....but that is what he is right now...

Lando is not gentle at all... He´s a snotty, disrespectful brat and has been getting worse over time, disrespects the pilots, his crew, fans and kids, until this guy tones down his entitlement at least by half then we´d see a better Lando, he is good but not best for now let´s step aside and watch Piastri take over.
