Scotland fans continue Euro 2024 tartan takeover of Munich as party gets in full swing

Scotland fans have continued to pour into Munich as the Tartan Army takeover continues ahead of tomorrow's Euro 2024 opening game.

Thousands of supporters were settled in to the local bars nice and early and the beer was flowing as the anticipation for tomorrow evening's clash with Germany builds.

Bagpipes rang out around the one of the city's main squares as fans were joined by locals, with one German woman describing the scenes as "crazy" and saying she thought she'd pitched up in Edinburgh.

Warmed to see the Scottish piper playing the German national anthem. This is a sign of European togetherness but subtlely, psychologically maybe even subconsciously it is also a sign of something else. Its Europe coming together, the man in the street feeling a like minded threat from so much outside Europe in the form of so much cynical invasion from non Europeans (which has shown in the recent polls) . Its a sign of whats to come.
