Very nice. Ever tried skater patterns? (short quartering downstream casts, rod tip high, GEM Skues Method in fast pockets). I love to skitter super bushy Yellow Humpies. Fish fly airborne for them in summer. You drop a lot of fish because they get lip hooked, but oh the explosions . Works best at dusk .

Loved your video ! I fish the Ausable all the time, have a place in Wilmington and know your stretch well (just looking at it from the road though lol) - I’ve fished pocket water east of where you where, but at 59 my ankles hurt just looking at those boulders lol !! Water flows are pretty high for this time of year, due to all the heavy rain we got in July. My local river the Salmon in Westchester CT was unfishable for good three weeks. It's a fast rocky and slippery stream. I don't fish without a wading staff, you should get one. I am planning to fish the Ausable after Labor day weekend.
