It's not about showing cuteness, sexiness, manliness or heartbreaks.
It sends message that goes straight to everyone's heart. A message for everyone to wake up and make a difference for the society. I salute BAP for that.

I cried so many times because of their disband, this group is really important, they used music to show important things, they were so outstanding from other boring idol groups

is no one going to point out how b.a.p's leader yongguk was on hiatus battling against his depression & anxiety disorder & now they're back as 6 with a self-composed song raising awareness on mental illnesses? WOKE IDOLS w/ talent since 2012

This song is so underrated. Unlike most kpop songs this actually spreads awareness about mental health and how bad it is that we talk about it so little. I still miss B.A.P. One of the best kpop groups.

Who are still here in 2020 with me?we miss this boys!

Edit:I want every kpop Stans to know that B.A.P had so much talent and loved by their fans the only thing is that they just got so less time to proved themselves because their dreams were eaten and destroyed by their company. That lead them to disband! I wish they will come together as 6 in future. B.A.P fans are still waiting for them.

Shoutout to the best leader in the world, Bang Yongguk. You deserved this freedom. You no longer have to play by the rules of the company that exhausted you. You did amazing job, despite your struggles you decided to stay with BAP and Babyz until the end. Thank you Yongguk, thank you our biggest role model and inspiration. One day all 6 of you will shine again because you are meant to be together with us. Forever OT6, forever BAP 💞

EDIT: Guys, our boys ain't under TS anymore which means they are not BAP officially anymore but that means nothing when we all know they are still together as friends and family. Please show support to each member in their solo careers and REMEMBER they all promised they will come back as one one day.

As far as my understanding, I will list what I have learnt from this MV. It explores many societal issues, which is one of the rarest subjects of MV's these days.
1) The first girl is one that is battling with self-love, she can't appreciate herself for who she is, and she hates herself for who she is. Society's pressures to be pretty, perfect, skinny, etc. really get to most people, and this girl is an example of them. This is also one of the reasons for high suicide rate.
2) The male who waves his arms about with a smile on his face is meant to represent the racism side of this MV. When the lights go out, gun fires fly out of his hands, representing that he is labelled by society as a terrorist, and the many people on the bed, floor, etc. are his many "victims".
3) The third girl is a young girl that seems to battling with depression, and also one that takes pills and medicine regularly which is most probably why she looks as if she's about to faint.
4) The male who looks at himself in the mirror is closely linked to the girl at the beginning. However, he is not only battling with his self-worth, but racism as well. This may also be the reason he drowns himself in the bathtub.
5) The female who is cutting up all the food is what I believe to be the representation of anorexia or eating disorders. The maggot is the metaphor that represents this. The maggot is the metaphor for anorexia, very cleverly crafted. Anorexic people are usually hesitant or even scared to touch food because they're afraid to gain "weight", which is probably why she drops her chopsticks in fear. Not only that, but maggots are pretty gross as well, so I would probably react the same.
I think that's everyone mentioned/seen in this music video. I think the message of the repetition of "wake me up", is for us. Waking up and looking at everyone, the world around us and realising that people struggle with all sorts of problems. I'm proud of B.A.P for being so open about something like this because it's not every day you get this type of MV. I also love the song. I'm loving the new sound, it suits them incredibly.

Wake Me Up, Honeymoon, and Hands Up seriously has some of the most real meaningful lyrics that other groups don't go to. BAP Stayed true to their concept to the end. I will always know them and respect them as one of the most powerful groups.

Here's what you need to know if you're new to them:

Debuted in 2012 with Warrior which is considered to be one of the best boy group debuts ever alongside SHINee's Replay. Their name stands for Best, Absolute, Perfect.

They went through a long hiatus around 2014-2015 after they filed a lawsuit against TS for their "slave contracts." A lot of fans left because of that, but you see, many of us still stayed. :)

They had a comeback late 2015 with Young Wild and Free after a settlement with the company and now they're back to slay us all with Wake Me Up.

Members:

Yongguk (90 liner) - Black, wavy hair in the MV. The leader and main rapper. Super deep voice. Genius lyricist. He suffered from panic disorder but now he's back so please give him lots of support!

Himchan (90 liner) - Sexy red hair in the MV. The visual and mama of the group. Also with the deep vocals. He thinks he's fat so please tell him that he's not and that he's gorgeous no matter what.

Daehyun (93 liner) - Brown hair in the MV. Visucal = Visual + Vocal (main). Handsome face and powerful vocals. Crazy high notes! My bias wrecker. Very noisy. From Busan. One half of my ultimate ship, DaeJae.

Youngjae (94 liner) - Black, straight hair in the MV. Lead vocal. My bias. Seriously underrated vocals and visual so please give him more love! A smarty pants. Other half of DaeJae.

Jongup (95 liner) - With blond highlights in the MV. Main dancer and subvocal. Also very underrated. His vocals improved so much! He's kind of an awkward alien but we love him anyway.

Zelo (96 liner) - Pinkish silver hair in the MV. The one who twirled like a tornado. Lead dancer and also a rapper. Giant maknae, tallest one in the group despite being the youngest. Known for his LTE rap.

Babyz/Warriorz, please feel free to add more info and to the new fans, feel free to ask questions. Welcome to the fandom!
