Cow number 45 reference-possibly hormonal issue. Years ago I had a mare that started acting like a stud. Turns out she had a basketball sized cyst on her ovaries. UC Davis operated and were able to remove it, but she never was able to be bred again. Just a thought...

Cow 45 has a health issue (probably ovarian cyst or other hormonal problem, as many other folks have commented). BEST (and less financial impact) and EASIEST is culling. It's not like she is a star cow that adds extra value to the ranch. She's just a problem cow. 😲😜 Gate is awesome! Table top is extra strong now. New scalder was a wise investment. BRAVO, FTR! P.S. How many lbs. of chicken did you harvest this year?

For the wasps under the workbench; I’ve had success keeping wasps from building in & around my garden shed by spraying Ortho Home Defense on all the wood entry points, (door casings, jams, etc) in spring as soon as I see activity. It has a residual effect and really works! I sometimes have to reapply late summer, but not usually.
