History makes this story much sadder. Anne never actually wished to be his mistress or hell even his wife because you know, HE WAS MARRIED. Henry by proclaiming her as his made all respectable suitors disappear to the point she was backed into a corner and forced to marry him because no one was daft enough to go for the ‘king’s woman’. She had to make this marriage work because he gave her zero choice. Once again Henry Tutor is the WORST.

I love Anne Boleyn. She was such a complicated, morally grey person and I find her so fascinating. I don't believe she should have been queen, and she did do some things that were not the greatest (mistreating the Lady Mary for example). But she didn't deserve the amount of pressure, vitriol from the public and she didn't deserve to die.
I love all of Henry's wives because they all deserved far better, but Anne is probably the most fascinating to me.

Even though she wasn't a kind person to Mary or Catherine of Aragon, losing children is really heartbreaking I'm sure, even more heartbreaking is that Henry was like "you lost my boy" and yelled at her instead of comforting her and saying her that the pain will pass. Indeed, I try to find someone hurt in her, even though she had her faults. It must not have been easy for her through all that pressure and losing the beloved children she had hoped for with joy.
