Student-driven Research in the Galapagos Islands

Students like Sergio find their voice and a platform for sharing their passion for conservation through EPI's field programs and alumni opportunities.

In an effort to monitor the effects climate change has on coastal habitats and the species that depend upon them, EPI's Mola Mola Eco Club students conduct beach profile studies several times a year. These student-stewards also help the Galapagos National Park's efforts to monitor and protect the green sea turtles that hatch from this iconic beach.
