Senate Passes Plan Allowing Beer and Wine With Take-Out Food
Показать описание
Restaurants selling food to-go can add beer and wine to a take-out order, under a plan passed by the Senate Thursday, April 16. Sponsored by Senator Karin Housley, R - St. Marys Point, the bill limits the amount of liquor to one bottle of wine or six-pack of beer.
Amendments to expand the proposal to include various liquor and food license changes did not advance, as Housley advocated a limited, previously-negotiated approach to aid the restaurant industry. During the bill's consideration, the Senate debate expanded to arguments in support of restarting the economy to maintaining the essential business approach.
The Senate also passed a bill allowing telemedicine to used to treat erectile dysfunction.
