I picked this up at a Goodwill for $20. The HDMI light was flashing meaning there was a fault code. I googled how to do a factory reset and it fixed it. It's an amazing receiver and for $20 well it can't be beat!!

I’m using this pioneer vsx-1023 and I love it. Is it ok if I put digital equalizer?

Only analog audio can be played in zone 2 on the VSX-1023. If you step to the VSX-1123 you can get playback from internet radio and Pandora in zone 2.

We do not guarantee 4 ohm operation with our VSX receivers, we do on the SC series. The VSX-1023 will still play 4 ohm speakers, you just need to be aware that if you play them too loud the receiver may go into thermal overload and turn itself off to protect itself from permanent damage.

Hi, how can I connect my Pioneer VSX-1023-K to a Spotify on notebook? In the recently past it was possible, but now I am not able to do it, why?

Also, I would like to know if there is a new Firmware version. The receiver is running Firmware version s9294.4004.1066.

Can you help me?

how do you activate the zone 2 speakers for internet radio (pandora) etc...? can't get them to work.
