Eli's got two potential lottery picks on his team, Amen & Ausar Thompson, so he started this game on the bench. He was cool with it tho, he's learning his role and knew he had to step up big when he got his moment. And he did just that!! He nailed a 4-point play at the buzzer to end the half to tie the game up! Just because he's the youngest guy out there doesn't mean Eli won't give you buckets!! He TOOK OVER, dropping dimes left and right, hitting clutch fadeaways, layups and 3s! Isaac was so proud to watch his big bro go crazy on the biggest stage. Eli's game reminds me a LOT of Braden Smith/Purdue. Smith was an overlooked player, but as a true freshman is starting PG and is a big part of Purdue's season so far. Eli's gonna have plenty of D1 offers to choose from and we'll see him playing in March at the next level.
