I like it a lot! Plain & simple. Personally I'd hit it with some kind of "stain" or clear outdoor sealer. But I like the design a lot. 👍👍👍

I would use an allen wrench, whatever size will fit, instead of a nail, just to be on the safe side. Nice-looking door.

I need to replace mine that is very similar to yours.
But, I will attach my vertical framing boards first so the horizontal ones can help support them with at heavy door.
I will also use more hinges due to the weight of the door and the small area of the vertical framing boards where the hinge screws go.
That it use more elongated screws onto a facial board or maybe even into the concrete block foundation.
I had a couple of regular door hinges on mine screwed to like 1x facial board that did pretty good for a while, but eventually came loose from the facia when the thin part of the facia that the screws were in gave out.
That being said, I might have used pine, not sure.
Hmm, gonna have to go look now that I think about it, not sure I installed facia.
SMH, my old mine is getting tricky in regards to memory.
Note: I looked and I did have facia boards but only attached them to the door framing. I also used elongated hinges.
When I redo it, I will attach the facia to the blocks also.
Also not sure I used pressure treats boards.
