1.) Very sneaky of you to not include any pricing in this video.

2.) All games are your's forever, except for the games in humble trove that you haven't downloaded. That's not that much of a malicious issue, just bad wording, I hope.

3.) So does this mean the bare bones plan for just the trove isn't a thing anymore? Why doesn't this video address this?

I don't know why I expected this video to be a backpedal on humble choice. Maybe it was out of hope that you guys were not cold and predatory. But I should have known better.

I just don't think tiered subscription plans for anything are really, idk, moral? I'm just for a flat fee for everyone for most services. Maybe it's not realistic, idk. But for humble choice it seems predatory because someone may want 4 of the games listed, and thus are pressured into paying for premium. I guess that's how all humble bundles work in a way, but it just seems even worse with a subscription based service. Plus the premium benefits are enough to pressure the standard users too. Also grandfathering monthly subscribers into this plan is a given even tho it seems like you're "holding people hostage", but it is also messed up that you made the last humble monthly so God damn good with the best and most sought after games within recent memory of Monthly, so more people feel pressured to stay on. So it doesn't feel like you can play this off as anything but trickery and malicious and manipulative business.

Honestly, if humble monthly isn't sustainable, you should just come out and say it. It's not very "humble" to lie and try and trick people into thinking this is a good thing. And honestly, I would rather have humble monthly completely end than have this shit brought in to replace it. I'll be giving a $0 tip from now on with all bundles I buy so you guys will hopefully be drained and go under. I won't be tricked into keeping the humble monthly/choice even if the top game is DMC5 deluxe edition. I'll be sure to never use the store and just buy off GOG for my DRM free fix. Also I'll be sure to download all my DRM free games and albums and get all my keys before you guys go under.

You guys represented the future of PC gaming; DRM free, P2P downloads, affordable games that came with a steam key, indie exposure. And while some of that stuff had to go away with time and with the crowd that wanted more triple A titles, it still hurt to see some of the decisions you guys made. But a lot of the good stuff you did and changed kept me on. So it's been a good run, but all good things come to an end, nothing is permanent, not Humble, not steam, not gog, not PC games, not games in general. It will all end someday. There isn't a need to cry over it. Acceptance is a part of life. Knowing when to give up and throw in the towel is also a part of life. I'll try to remember the good parts of humble bundle and not this stuff. Goodbye you guys, it was fun and heartwarming.

This can only make sense if the quality of games being released on the bundle are also increased. Will there be more AAA titles to choose from? Or just 1 or 2 with the rest being low budget indie titles.

I dont mind this change but once you get rid of classic plan. I would have to get rid of it. The extra money isnt on the bugget.

This is basically a price increase on the current Monthly Bundle from $12 to $20. The funny thing is, I think they would've gotten a better reaction from everyone if they had just said "Hey, we're doing a price increase because the old model was unsustainable, sorry." But instead, they tried to advertise it as an upgrade and now everyone's pissed.

I know you guys have shareholders, but just say "hey, monthly isn't profitable anymore and we have to raise the price" and if you can't say it publicly, you can maybe have an anonymous employee "leak" the info in a post and pay it a suspicious amount of attention.


i feel like some idiot manager looked at this service and decided to lump the inevitable price hike in with the feature request for people to "pay less for only the games they want, " but they were drunk and only wanted to fill out one set of paperwork for the changes. neither of those things are despicable on their own, but they have handled it in the worst way possible.
