My favourite thing in Engrish is the use of “the” in a lot of their marketing. It’s not “a” Christmas, it’s “the” Christmas(Aeon). For now I cannot name more things but I see it every now and again and I think: “Yes, this is the confidence the normally modest Japanese people should have!”
