I much much prefer kirby's epic yarn I stopped playing wooly world at world 2.

I feel like Yoshi's traditional gameplay definitely lends itself to the yarn aesthetic more naturally, like, they didn't need to change the formula all that much yet it still felt so inventive and interesting.
However, there's something about Epic Yarn that's just more fun, in my opinion, yeah. Maybe it's more fast paced? Maybe it's just that Kirby has some natural charm to him that always wins me over? Whatever it is, it worked pretty well! In honesty, it kept my attention better than Woolly World did too, I felt more compelled to beat Epic Yarn because of its story and it just being more fun.

To be honest in my opinion, Yoshi’s woolly world is way better. You can do many things, such as, knitting Yoshis back together, changing Yoshi’s skin using amiibo, and even watching movies in the scrapbook theater! (Only for 3DS)

I like how the soundtrack for both games are done by Tomoya Tomita, although in Epic Yarn, a few of them (mostly remixes of iconic Kirby songs) are composed by both Ando and Ichikawa (but since both of them were busy making the soundtrack of Return to Dream Land at the time, most of the soundtrack are done by Tomita instead).

Also, Meta Knight's boss fight in this game is ironically one of the hardest in the series.

In my opinion I had a lot more fun with Kirby’s epic yarn first it had better bosses and I have a lot of good memories with the game but yoshis wooly world was still pretty fun the bosses were ok the game was fun but I respect you’re opinion

A big part of the reason why Kirby’s Epic Yarn isn’t as close to Kirby as YWW is to Yoshi is because KEY wasn’t originally intended to be a Kirby game; it was just going to focus on Prince Fluff at first. Then Good-Feel noticed how close Fluff and Kirby looked and partnered with HAL.

Nice comparison. I might be in the minority who liked Yoshi's Woolly World over Kirby's Epic Yarn. I don't know why, but there's something about Epic Yarn that I find to be boring that I actually didn't bother to finished it when I've last played it. My guesses are because the game doesn't feel like a Kirby game, unlike Woolly World, and that it was slow paced (It might also be that I've never try to collect all beads which may explain why the game was easy and boring). I have more fun playing Woolly World that not only have I completed it, but I even 100% it. While easy, the game can actually be challenging when it comes to 100% it. I thought about going back playing Epic Yarn to see if my opinion on the game remain the same or not.

I think Yoshi games should use yarn, wool, and diorama graphics. I think Kirby games should use clay graphics.

i like yoshi wooly world, i hate kirby epic yarm. but my favory game is little big planet 3, this game beat kirby epic yarm and yoshi wooly world
