WILD GUNS: RELOADED - PS4 REVIEW

Hey everyone for this review I take on the SNES classic remastered for the PS4 Wild Guns Reloaded. Enjoy!

My reviews are 100% unbiased and I will never do one unless I am confident enough to do so. I use a scale of 1 - 10 with 5 being a average game. Many professional reviewers use 7 as a average game which I find is more of a trick to convince you the consumer that a game is better then it really is.

I am amazed by the fact that the same five people who worked on the SNES title came back and retooled it for the PS4.

I don't agree with the digital price, but will definently pick up its physical release on Amazon

Thanks everyone for checking out the review this is one the saddens me. Wild Guns is a great and very fun game even with its short length. However the price is just way way to high and feels like its just trying to stick it to those who know its a hard to get a hold of title plus trying to make this version become rare but having a limited release of the physical version. One thing I forgot to mention was there are some changes to the game on the harder difficulties a couple of levels switch up but even with that it only provides a tiny bit of overall new content to the game.

Thanks for the review been waiting for you to do this :D I agree that Natsume took advantage of the rarity of the game to set Wild Guns Reloaded's price. The SNES version of the game is crazy expensive!

I don't remember this game. I do remember Sunset Riders.

I actually agree with you 100%.. It was absolutely worth it on the black friday sale, but I missed it, and no way I'll pay 30 bucks for this. It's fun, but not $30 fun for a short game. Nope. They priced this one wrong. And the physical versions are *already* going for stupid prices on the PS4 and Switch.. So tired of price gouging and they can KEEP IT! Cheers

Man, there are some cheap ass mofos on this comment thread. Won't pay 30 bucks for a game that plays like nothing else currently available on ps4, and is extremely fun, yet will pay 60 bucks for the same cod/ assassins Creed etc bullshit year after year. Then pay 20 bucks or more for a couple of extra maps, or some nonsense like that. It's no wonder modern gaming is in the state it's in now. Smh.

Something important, this version locks difficulty in multiplayer. If you play 2 player, you can ONLY PLAY EASY. If you play 4 player you can ONLY PLAY HARD. This kinda killed the multiplayer for me, since me and my friend who played the snes original can't try the new levels together, and Its harder to ease in my brothers when it locks us to hard.

I have a copy of the original! I saved up, and then my parents drove out of town with me to get it, since none of my local shops carried it (yes, they are cool).

One of my favorite SNES games, and boy, did the title of this video raise my eyebrow. I was disappointed this didn't go all-out on the visuals, but effectively being a re-release with additional content, I still found myself in a state of "yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah."

That is, until you mentioned that price. What are they thinking? When Suikoden II came out on the PSN store a while ago, Konami/Sony didn't charge no $30 and say "oh, it's rare." I know it's rare! I have a copy of that too! But because they only charge $10, it was easy to pick up a digital copy!

In the case of Wild Guns Reloaded, all they're going to do is create a situation where no one plays it because "$30? Get outta here." Shoot, this really shifted my mood for the worse. :P

I actually was surprised to see it in the psn store but for 29.99 I may just use that $10 psn money they gave us since this was in the same boat as caladrius blaze which was the same price and after watching your video I was already sold on the game and I bought it and still play it to this day but I agree with you on the price if you have the $10 psn money that's the only way I see buying this as always looking forward to the next video review. Keep it up cornshaq ^_^

I bought it today with the Limited edition keychain as a collector I had to get this before it got expensive and I only played a short bit of this game on SNES and loved it. Cannot wait to receive the PS4 copy and playing with friends will be fun.

Cornshaq has the best reviews even if it's not a game I like.

Wow they put a lot of work into this update. $30 for a physical copy is just fine but for digital slop that is way too much. They should have released it on PS3 too!

I bought the physical and downloadable versions. I plan on keeping it shrink wrapped and let it "ripen" for a few years. I bought the digital version to play. So I basically paid new full game price for a 200 Meg game. Still love it. Also have a repro of the original SNES cart.

Don't know if it's already been mentioned, but....Amazon has this (or at least HAD this as of last week when I picked it up, so your results finding it now may vary) for sale on the site, through their own Amazon storefront. Not ONLY the Natsume store or any store representing the publisher, although it was there as well, funny enough, without the little first printing collectable. Same price with or without PRIME....$29.99, and comes with a fairly high quality WG logo designed keychain, the cool lil bonus i mentioned that it came with.

Didn't they also add 2 new stages that replace others depending on the difficulty?

I grew up playing this on my Snes. For me the Ps4 exclusivity, the design of the new characters and the guns especially grenade launcher effect change ruined it.
