BLU Life Play APN setting for AT&T

Thank you! I received a BLU Studio 5.3 S today (July 18) and worked eagerly to set it up. WiFi was fine but I kept trying/failing to get mobile data working. The APN section was blank (no entries at all) and I began to get frustrated and was ready to return the phone. I Googled "BLU apn settings AT&T" and saw this video. I entered everything as shown (but it was hard to see the commas for APN type, which looked like periods), retried and now mobile data is cruising. Thanks again, God bless

Yep. I actually shot the video with the s4. I was really curious just how good can a $230 phone can be. So I got it!

If your phone has the hangouts app go into the settings for that app and disable the SMS setting. As soon as I fif that my picture messaging began to work.

Updated to Kit Kat which deleted the APN settings and now unable to access APN settings ("Unfortunately, Settings has stopped) is the error message when trying to restore APN.
Is there a way to downgrade from Kit Kat or to enter APN? ureviews

The APN setting you just set up, is that just for the internet. Can you do one for messaging

Instead of the IP address put in mms proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
