The star found fame in the 1990s when she performed on The Clive James’ show numerous times. Trending The singer covered famous hits such as Lionel Richie's Hello and Frank Sinatra’s New York, New York. She also was a part of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras festival during the mid-1990s. Most recently, she appeared in an episode of Real Housewives of New York City last year. Writer and broadcaster Matthew Sweet tweeted the news alongside a picture of the singer today. Fans of the singer have flocked to social media to pay tribute. Escapologist Jonathan Goodwin tweeted: “#RIP the force of nature that was Margarita Pracatan. “Loved her on the Clive James show. What a fabulous character.” Another penned: “Gutted to hear about the death of Margarita Pracatan. A total ray of sunshine.” Last year, Margarita expressed her heartbreak following the death of her co-star Clive. The broadcaster died after a long-term illness back in Novemer aged 80. The singer took to Twitter telling fans she was shocked by the news alongside a picture of the famous TV pair.
