Vostok watch was the first watch that I had worn. The watch was given to me by grandfather as a present for my communion confirmation. I was devestated when I lost it While visiting my grandma in Chicago Illinois US. I finally bought a Vostok Scuba dude on eBay, I waited 4 weeks for it. I love the watch. Its the most undervalued dive watch. Its history is unbelievable. It's the AK47 of all watches😁😁😁☺☺☺☺☺☺

After watching this, I put on my Komandirskie 020711.I have an early (1990's) scuba dude which I wore to work a lot, so it has been through the mill but still works

I have the 710059 with a brushed case and bezel, I got it when I was on "Watchuseek"... I absolutely love it the color goes from green to blue depending on the light! 😉👍

The Scuba Dude, wish I had one. Vostok is addictive so you have to watch out.

Unfortunately, my brand new Vostok Amphibia completely halted after only 5 months of sporadic use. I am not sure if I can trust the reliability of the brand since I do not wish to risk again my watch stopping while diving. I took a good care of it, never dropped it or opened the case back, I took care that the crown is always screwed in properly. I only took it for a swim in the sea once, and it halted couple of days after, but there was no sign of water ingression. No bumping, time setting or winding up could bring it back to life.

The watch is under warranty, and I sent it back to the seller for repairs. If all goes well, I will get it back only after couple of months.

I find russian watches crude and china-like in quality control, sorry. Having lived in the USSR myself, remember my granddad had "Слава" that he said was better than any of the modern watches Russia makes.
