You should put fairy lights behind it it would look so cool

Someone suggested flickering fairy lights and I whole-heartedly agree!

Stick a long toothpick in each nozzle after each use. It keeps the paint from sticking. Happy painting! ❤

Others have already given you some tips on getting bubbles out BUT I want to say that in this case I think the bubbles actually improve the project, as antique stained glass has bubbles in it. It looks gorgeous!

So cute! I think try an opalescent piece of paper or posterboard on the back to pop those colors... Could even put some spacers so it's not flush to the backside & gives more space/dimention but still reflects a lot of light

It would be really cool if you set up a fake flame light fixture behind calcifer so it looks like he's the fire in your fireplace!

HACK: To avoid paint clogging the nozzles, Use a part of a toothpick (Do NOT break them off in the nozzle) and insert it into the tip.

If you are worried about poking yourself with the broken edge you can use tape to cover the jagged side, sand paper, a nail file, or (if you've the time and inkling) a dollop of hot glue by itself or with a pompom.

It is a simple fix to keep the nozzle clear, cheap, and one less hassle when doing a large project ❤.

Awesome Fireplace Art Piece❤❤

If you have trouble with getting air bubbles out, use your hair dryer on the highest HEAT setting, lowest blow setting, on the areas. ❤

I'd like to see it in the Dark with the candles. I'm tempted to make fake fire place with this idea

It would be so cute if you put one larger candle right behind the calcifier so that it looked like it was glowing! 🔥❤️
Also, to avoid the paint drying in the nozzle put a safety pin, paper clip, sewing pin or something similar in the tip between uses. Hope that helps! 😊😊😊

Also little tip if you haven already remove the backing on the other side of the plexiglass which will also help with the clarity

#1 Tip once the Inside Color Dries you can cut it out with a Sharp Sharp Blade/lift it up and Repaint
#2 Tip 👉🏼The Nozzle won't Dry up if you use a Pin, PaperClip or Toothpick or Cap Good Tip if your doing a Huge project ❤
#3 Tip You can Mix Color so it doesn't look Flat (like The Flames (Red and Yellow a Little Orange ) Swipe upwards looks More Realistic! ❤
#4 Stained Glass has Spectrums of Color in it So Marbling it and mixing Colors gives a Fabulous Look! 👍
# 5 if you're on a Strict Budget 👉🏼Dollar Tee Elmer's Clear Glue and Acrylics Paints or Colored Inks mixed together Works just as Good as That Expensive Gallery Glass..Facts 😎
Tip # 6 Use an Old Frame with Glass or Mirror to Practice or even a Clear Plastic Platter from Dollar Tree or Frame/$Tree
I got a Bunch of Free Huge Frames just asj Family Friends u will be Surprised how many you get or Get at Tag Sales Flea Market..
Use Eye Hooks and Chain to hang in Window
Wow u did a Fabulous Job ❤ 👍👍👍👍👍

This looks so good! It's so interesting how the yellow is so opaque, when in painting, a lot of yellow paints are translucent naturally! You might like to experiment with glueing little glass beads, like the ones they put in fire pits! Old stained glass used to have some glass elements like that too~
