Fortnite Servers Just SHUT DOWN, But Why???

Servers are cooked. There are so many people playing Fortnite right now. This is a good sign, but it also stinks if this is your only opportunity to play. I hope they fix things soon! #epicpartner

I was in the middle of a fight and we all just got kicked. I was fuming and then got back to lobby and found out it was down. Oh well. Great season anyways. 😅

One things for sure, when the servers went back up, the Katalina glitch was patched. I’d imagine that’s the reason why the servers went down and it was intentional. Luckily I got the skin the night before

I don't even have the list of game modes, logged in to do some quests but I can't choose the Reload mode 😭

Replace the thermal paste...I just literally looked up a how to video on YouTube and took about 30 mins...if you never opened it, then you never dusted it. The dust gets trapped in the heat sync. It's IMPOSSIBLE to blow out from the outside of the console. If you take the case off, remove the board, you will be blown away how much dirt and hair is in it. Get some rubbing alcohol..wipe off the dry dead thermal paste and put some fresh paste on and slap it back together. It won't make a sound. Dead silent. Which literally makes it good as new as well. This made a huge difference. Don't fall for the cooling fans etc on Amazon. It just prolongs the eventual doom awaiting your Playstation. Eventually your Playstation will start turning off, protecting itself from overheating and frying the board. I suggest anyone who's Playstation that sounds like a jet taking off, do this. Thermal paste is like 6$ and a can of duster like $5 and you won't have to worry about it again for years to come.

PS4 consoles come with a whole hairdryer as a package deal. I remember all the times mine would just go off every time I used it lol.

Btw, Save the World was PERFECTLY FUNCTIONAL during all this, so I was just doing the new quest line for the new heroes and grinding challenges and xp while I waited for the servers to fix. At the same time, my friend was in discord checking everything else to see when stuff started to work. 😂

There was a glitch that you could get the free skin (the one where you have to play on mobile phone) without playing on the phone or even being on eu servers. You can get it done in like under 10 mins. Lots of people did it and successfully got the skin, but ever since this downtime, the skin has been inaccessible by glitch. (Personally, I did the glitch and got the skin)
