Pecan Pie Cheesecake Ingredients:
For the Crust:
5 oz crushed graham cracker
1 tbsp brown sugar, light or dark
6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake:
5 (five) 8 oz packages cream cheese, room temperature
1¾ cups sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sour cream, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 large eggs, room temperature

For the Topping:
3/4 cup brown sugar, light or dark
6 tbsp unsalted butter (can be chilled)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup pecan halves
1/3 cup heavy cream

I believe it's illegal to make a baked ("proper") cheesecake without a spring form pan. My adopted east coast Italian aunt (who granted me her recipe) would murder me if I claimed otherwise. 😅 The combo of pecan pie is absolutely brilliant! I need this in my face.
