End of an era. This song brings back so many memories of epic games, playoff series, iconic calls…
I remember being excited to watch the Bulls on TNT just so I could watch some D. Rose highlights as they cut to commercial.
Big 3 in Miami, Dirk’s run with the Mavs, Splash brothers in their prime, OKC with Westbrook, Durant, Harden…golden days of the NBA, man. This song has seen it all.

I'm going to miss the NBA on TNT theme so much, when it was played for the final time last night, I just wanted to cry. I think it's the 2nd or 3rd best NBA theme of all-time, as NBA on NBC is obviously #1 then it just depends on where you rank the NBA on CBS theme from the 80s. When TNT branded themselves as the drama network back in the early 2000s when this theme was made, it did have that dramatic feel to it, so it fit in perfectly. I can only hope ESPN keeps it for Inside the NBA at least. If not, at least there's YouTube to continue to listen to it.

I miss the 2010-11 NBA season. It was the first time the new TNT theme was played. Especially throughout the 2011 NBA Playoffs.

Man, I thought this day would never come. We'll probably never hear this intro again. It's also sad because all of the commentators, sideline reporters are splitting up and going to different networks.

As a Canadian, I've gone through this once before when Rogers took over the rights for hockey and Hockey Night In Canada. Although Hockey Night In Canada is still on the air, the production has been taken over by Rogers and they've completely ruined it. It feels like ESPN will do the same to Inside The NBA.
