THE BRITISH military could see as much as 30 percent of its air defences turn to "Star Wars" type laser technology according to reports.
The news comes as Britain starts testing such technology which will be able to shoot enemy drones and missiles out of the sky. With a range of up to six miles at present, the boost to defences will see the British military adapt to new threats and rapidly improve its capabilities in eliminating enemy objects.
