If it wasn't for his constant muscle injuries, Owen could have been so much bigger at Madrid. His Liverpool days were phenomenal and he retained his lethal finishing ability despite playing on basically one leg. Much respect.

Should've stayed at Liverpool and won the Champions League. He'd be a legend along with Gerrard and Carragher as local boys who came thru the Academy. He's an official Liverpool ambassador but the fans held a petition to get rid of him. He's got a Premier League medal with Man Utd so he's probably not bothered.
