SKIING WINTER PARK 2021-2022 is ON!! (Top-Bottom Run, Terrain Park & Berthoud Pass Pow Status)

Winter Park Ski Resort pulled the old surprise open on Wednesday, and Today Thursday 11/18/21 was a great day to Shred the Slopes in Colorado! They have Free Parking, One long run accessed by 2 chairlifts, A Terrain Park with 6 Features (T-bar lift with rainbow rail, flat rails, tube, and 2 kinked boxes!) as well as a beginner area served by the magic carpet. Plenty of snow was afoot, and I found some backcountry ski pow for dessert with a quick romp up Berthoud Pass on the way back to Denver. Hope your Skiing and Riding Season is Great too! THis takes me back to being a member of the Eskimo Ski Club from 5th grade on to high school. Arrow Lift to Parkway.

Winter Park turned Turnpike into a terrain park and added a platter pull? That's interesting. That used to be my least favorite catwalk in the world. The unbuckle and push from the bottom of that run back to Eskimo HQ sucked when I was a kid. Making a terrain park out of it is a good way to get all the beginners off that run.
