Dr Audrey Evan’s and her husband Dr. Evan’s lived in our building. They were very nice and friendly but I had no idea who and what she was involved with. Her husband never failed to say Hi!!! Very nice. Anyway, one day I heard someone interviewing Dr Audrey and I said I had no idea about what you did. I told her wow you’re a great person and you’re famous for doing great things. Etc. She was very modest. I hadn’t seen them in awhile and sadly, they’ve both passed. But a beautiful legacy was left. She helped a lot of kids and we miss seeing them around. I hope they’re together and in peace. She got married late in life. I’m glad they had found each other. RIP. 🌹
