Only reason it’s exciting is that proper band music has absolutely died in the last 10-15 years. There was a piece on it recently showing that in the first 5 years of this decade, bands have only been number one for 3 weeks! In the 80s and 90s it was 140 weeks. The industry is dead and has been taken over by utter shit pop ‘artists’ where they don’t write their songs or play any instruments.

I'm glad I got to see The Roses at a decent price at Heaton Park. Let's face it, Oasis had 2 classic albums and we all know what they are. They just became a singles band after that. The proper fans probably won't get tickets but after seeing the final prices, I couldn't give a toss. Rip off merchants. Disgraceful. Ticketmaster, hotels, The Gallaghers and anyone selling their tickets for huge profits because they didn't give a shit about seeing em in the first place.
