Glock JUST RELEASED New AR-15 in 2023?

In this video, I’ll talk about Glock FINALLY building something other than handguns, what exactly it is that they’re trying to build, and whether or not we’ll ever get our hands on whatever it is they’re building.

If you’ve been living under a rock in the past couple of years, you probably haven’t heard of the rumors surrounding the new rifle model being built by Glock for the Brits who are having trouble with their Ranger Units and Special Operations Brigade’s standard issue SA 80 and L85 Enfield Bullpup rifles.

A GLOCK PCC chambered in 9mm would make the most sense, considering they’re known for making handguns.

I took a Glock course and the instructor hinted at them coming out with an AR platform, but this was back in 2020. Still waiting.

I compared the lower to a mil spec and it pretty much looks the same. The upper does look a bit fancier than a regular one. It does have a nice big bolt release which looks pretty ergonomic. If you look at the handguard right where the barrel nut is, there appears to be some sort of lever. This makes me think quick change barrel, I think the lever is for removing the handguard without any tools. I hope they do something revolutionary with the platform and don't overprice it too much.

So just as point of reference, most British elite units like the Royal Marines and pathfinder platoon had already adopted the Colt Canada L119a1 as did the rangers on initial formation as a temporary stop gap.

But when you mention the L85 your still talking about the disasterous A1 variant and not the TES A2 or A3 variants which are vastly superior now

I mean it’s probably a kit to make a Glock look like an AR, because everyone knows glocks idea of innovation is slapping a new number on an already existing gun.
