Randy: "What seems to be the officer problem?" Best line ever!

Not only do you get a lot of the obscure references this show does, now you've watched it enough to even get most of the self-referential stuff. These reactions are getting better and better.

you're one of the few reactors that genuinely deserve their views. Once can learn from watching your videos, characters I hadn't noticed, interesting facts about the episode and more. You're doing a great job.

Their social commentary is almost always right on point. Tell someone they are powerless and that they have a disease makes them even more vulnerable and less resilient in fighting off adversity.

"We are the same, she and I" that made me laugh way too much 😂

As an alcoholic I just accept things how they are. A person can quit anytime they want but addiction has its other side and it borders on insanity.

Are we all gonna just ignore that Dash clearly flipped off the wrong guy out there in Japan?

My grandmother and I used to argue about this all the time. Alcoholism is not a disease! (my opinion)

This episode is super important to me. It's the episode that helped me lose over 100 lbs. It drove home the message that my decisions were the reason I was morbidly obese. Because just like every drink randy had was a choice made by him entirely under his own control, every piece of food I ate was a choice I was making. I was choosing to be fat just like randy was choosing to be an alcoholic. It's not something out of your control, you're literally the only one who has any control over it. Everyday you make a series of choices that dictate the person you will become. If you want to become a fitness freak then you need to make the choices a fitness freak would make everyday and then you'll become a fitness freak. Make the choices of the person you want to be, and you'll be that person. Just like Dr Wong said to Rick.
"You chose to come here, you chose to talk, to belittle my vocation, just as you chose to become a pickle. You are the master of your universe and yet you are dripping with rat blood and feces, your enormous mind literally vegetating by your own hand. I have no doubt that you would be bored senseless by therapy, the same way I'm bored when I brush my teeth and wipe my ass, because the thing about repairing, maintaining, and cleaning is; it's not an adventure. There's no way to do it so wrong you might die. It's just work, and the bottom line is some people are okay going to work, and some people, well, some people would rather die. Each of us gets to choose."

I love that throughout watching these episodes Dash laughs and more and more heinous things, it's great also the hell happened to your middle finger, flip someone off too hard?

Living with an alcoholic who makes life miserable is rough, so this episode strikes me very close at home, love it very much

This episode is in my top 5. I always get teary eyed at the end of the episode. Kids that grew up with alcoholic dads just wish they could have a clarity moments like stan and randy did at the end.

This episode is the reason I randomly shout “Stan?

I’ve said this before but you are without a shadow of a doubt the best channel that reacts to any tv show. You have the most insane knack for catching references I’ve pointed that out before, but what you’re getting even better at the further you get with the show is catching callbacks, references to older episodes and reoccurring jokes. I mean to actually take the time to go “damn I know I’ve seen that character before” then looking through your reactions to find which episode it was and cutting out that clip, I really appreciate that amount of effort. A lot of these channels forget they’re WATCHING SOMETHING, they put in zero effort with editing and half the time don’t even pay attention or catch the easiest most obvious reference bc they don’t care. You actually take the time to put in extra stuff, be it references, questions for the audience or a point about the episode. You’re completely engaged, you don’t just say every episode is flawless you’re honest about how much you enjoyed each one and what it was that you liked. I don’t think I watch ONE other channel that reacts to shows or movies, every now and then I’ll watch one for a specific movie or show episode but you’re the ONLY one im subscribed to. The only other reaction channels I watch are like 2 or 3 for music if even that, and I still just watch ones I like or am interested in. This is the only reaction channel period that I watch every single upload from, I’m never disappointed even if it’s an episode I’m not a huge fan of

This has a place in the show's history because what it did was shape all the controversies that the show dealt with for the next 4-5 years. Plus, 1:17 was based on a true part of creator Trey Parker's childhood. When he was 9, his dad was drinking a beer while driving up a road pass and didn't want to stop so he drunk the beer and then peed into the bottle, while he was driving.

I love that SP has a way of making you laugh due to its absurdity, but then reflect on the delivery of its underlying moral of the story. You really have to read between the lines on this show.

This episode was a favorite for my a long time, my dad's ex girlfriend was in AA and it is very very cult like to some people(her) I've met a few who take it way to far just like anything else. It has great points when I was younger I totally thought like Stan though did aka Matt and Trey
