So I have a problem here that I've had a long time. I can go to USA Track and Field - USATF, and I can know all the members of every committee, I can know ALL the selection criteria for every meet, World Relays, Olympic, WC, etc. There is no transparency in the JAAA. If I am an athlete that is up and coming, where do I go to get information on the process? This should all be public information. Why is it that the JAAA is 'reaching out'? That's one avenue for established athletes but everyone must be privy to the same information all the time. This is 2024. Why is the JAAA website not updated?
Mr. Riley, I know you are well researched and mean well but these are some of the things holding us back. You should take it up on yourself to advise the JAAA on these matters as well. You should also advise them on merchandising and monetizing the brand they own for the benefit of the athletes. I am available for FREE consultation. No joke. The JAAA needs to do better notwithstanding the efforts so far. There is far more that can easily be done. It's such a no brainer, my bloody head hurts..

I wish they could have asked him WHY is the JAAA more interested in disciplining Tyquendo Tracey than making sure the mens 4x400m qualified for Paris ..

Mr. Riley should have decline this interview. He seems to have more personal grievance with Francis rather than providing transparency and accountability to the public.
Why can't the public know who is on the selection committee.
Why aren't the coaches made aware of the selection criteria.

🙁
Tracy said it. Committee members who have clubs selecting their athletes over faster persons that they don’t train.
Is this why they hesitate in disclosing the names of the committee members?
Think of the opportunity for athletes and the future of Jamaica in track and field.
Committee/s, seniors get your act together.

That's exactly what Frano suggested...., too much jokers on the selection committee...., Riley in his feelings...., Let go team Jamaica, love or hate Frano, he means well for Jamaica track and field

What the hell! I had to listen to Mr. Riley's opening statement several times to see if he really said "Stephen Francis is an ass". That was soooo unprofessional

Francis told no lies. His utterances obviously got under David's skin, and I love it. Riley is very unprofessional, and he obviously cane to this interview to "trace"

Only proved Frano right. High School coach can't deal with Senior matters. Think about it, which country doesn't know committee members?? And how can you talk about injury when Frano has been responsible for many of the sprint medals??

Did he say he was an ass???? How disrespectful!!!! He could have responded without calling him a derogatory name. He needs to apologize.

David! I expected better from you. Your initial statement and pronouncements of name calling just goes to show how professional the JAAA is. 👏 👏 👏 bravo!!! Just proved Stephen ✅️

I am not a fan of Franno but when he is right, I’ve got to give him his props; and he is right in this case. Mr. Riley, you’ve got to learn how to diplomatically disagree with someone; by calling Franno an ass, especially when he has not publicly called you any degrading names, you’ve given yourself a “red card, double blank”! Franno represents his business, you represent a government organization and call someone an ass in a public forum??!! Perhaps you don’t want to know who I think is the real ass/jackass here.

Mr. Riley you are incorrect when you say that meets and races are not organized or potentially organized around name brand athletes; pls remember that the IAAF was willing to reschedule the 400 m flat if Usain wanted to participate in it. Franno is right, in that you should not be on the Senior selection committee and I’ll go a bit further and say that you nor Maurice Wilson and maybe the other gentleman should be on the JAAA selection committee period!!

People - Now see clearer their vindictiveness against Tyquendo Tracey

Why would he blatantly call him an ass. He should've excerise some form of euphemism honestly . I think these people fail to understand the influence they have our dare beloved sports and the bread and butter of many athletes.

What they need to do is exactly what Mr Francis said.
It's a long time you all behaving like children and holding on to power and only looking after yourselves.
Not caring about the athletes yet when one athlete speak his mind which he has every right to he is now under judgment.

Wilson and Riley are two of our problems, one is vindictive and the other doesn't know what he is doing but think he does.

Maurice Wilson is the problem. He's the one who makes the final decisions when it comes to the relays, and it has been evident for the past 2 or 3 years that his decisions towards the relays are inadequacies. This relay issue needs to be dealt with or else it going to affect us in tye near future
