As bad as her drunken behavior I'm the dorm was, the information that came out about her downright vicious highschool behavior is particularly damaging.

She literally tried to destroy another girl and her family over an extended period of time. This instance can't be interpreted as a drunken one off.

I'm so sick of these foul people passing off their bad behavior as 'mistakes'. A 'mistake is picking up the wrong umbrella or putting in the wrong produce code at the self-checkout. This girl made choices and it seems like those choices are a product of her upbringing, albeit also not an excuse. If she hasn't figured this out now, her life is going to get very complicated. Update: she was sentenced to 12 months in jail in October 2024 & just asked for early release from jail & was denied this week.

I wish there was more highlighting of Kyla (the victim in this case). She seems like a wonderful young woman with a very bright future. She handled a very difficult situation (as a freshman) with great maturity, she's thoughtful and expressive, has a strong personal voice, and has obvious leadership qualities.
