Can I Complete Subnautica: Below Zero WITHOUT WATER? (Part 1)

After months of waiting, the challenge is finally here! In this series, I'll be trying to complete Subnautica Below Zero without water using the custom water level mod. The first game was already insanely challenging in parts (impossible in others) and the sequel certainly brings many of its own challenges. Will this even be possible? Let's find out!

The relaxing music you played was so relaxing and peaceful, I fell asleep on accident. It’s great to listen to in the dark all alone! Please keep using that music for the time lapses. It truly is relaxing.

Yes it’s possible in my experience but it takes placing a LOT of air pipes, building many bridges, and a lot of patience. I ended up making paths out of light sticks to get to important areas. I used the portable pumps to generate heat on the fly. The hardest part was getting in and out of the mining site, I ended up making a staircase out of air pipes…. Propulsion cannon is IMO necessary for getting resources efficiently off of walls. There’s also an exploit with climbing onto unbuilt solar panels iirc. I did a playthrough to make sure my mod was possible

1:00 So, according to all the rules, there is no "is prohibited to touch water" or "do not go out of the limit of the map". According to this, you could theorically go into the limits of the map, enter into the -9999 meter depth water and use the water for constructing the vehicles (or maybe something more)

I recommend getting the Prawn Suit if you can, 'cause unlike the first game, it's actually OP on land. I never even built a Snowfox in my first playthrough, because the Prawn Suit was already great. Hell, it's even useful for Skyriming your way on top of the big glacier walls if necessary. I even managed to get mine to Maida's Greenhouse by jumping from iceberg to iceberg after doing this.

The building out of a cave plan reminds me of when I got my prawn suit stuck in the jellyshroom caves in the original game without the grabbing hook or jump upgrade, and ended up building a bunch of corridors to jump onto so I could get out. I imagine it's a lot more painful on foot compared to prawn suit in water.
